Love everything about this photo!! The clash of textures and patterns but with the common under tone of pink just makes it work.

Todays catch up with old friends from school was an eventful one to say the least. We decided to meet at Di Bella Roasting Warehouse on South Terrace in Fremantle, it was super busy being Easter Monday but we managed to find a table for the 5 of us, by rearranging the cafe (girls have to lunch). They present a small menu which makes it easier to decide what to have, four of us had the coconut prawns with Asian greens, and the other who is allergic to nuts had a quinoa salad with chicken WITHOUT the WALNUTS…(and asked twice to ensure they could and would make it without nuts). I’m sure by now you may be able to guess what happened next. So after 45 min of conversation and our meals coming to an end, my friend started to realise that something wasn’t quite right. Just like Miss Clavel from Madeline says “Something is not right, something is quite wrong”. Her lips started to swell, so obviously her meal had been contaminated by nuts. The two of us rushed to my car and we drove to Fremantle Hospital (lucky it was just down the road). I drove in to the emergence drop off area and let her go inside while I found somewhere to park. The poor dear was admitted to the emergency room, given an antihistamine and told she had to stay for 6 hours, incase of a secondary reaction.
Although this happened and it wasn’t the best public holiday Monday it could have been, Roasting Warehouse were very considerate and understood that they had not taken enough care of the note on our order, and they said the bill was on them. For this I will give them a second chance!
During todays event I was lucky enough to be wearing my leather converse, comfort, style and perfect for a dash to the hospital.

Easter Saturday night called for dinner with my Mum at a favourite restaurant of mine, Bread in Common on Pakenham Street in Fremantle, WA.
As always a delicious meal deserves to be served to some dressed to the same standard. Tonights meal was accompanied by an outfit mixed of Australian, UK and Italian designers. What more could you want!
